"Penang state assembly: Fourth walkout in four months"

Fuhhh..this is the best part of politic! One day you are at the top and another you are at the bottom. Before this, the DAP and its alliances are in the opposition side. At that time they never give a peace of mind to BN so now I am laughing all the way hahahaha...they are facing the game that they used to play...Congrats to the BNs in Penang!!!!

Having a negative aura?

This what I always do, just lock myself alone in my house. Be alone when I feel that my mind and actions are not that positive. I just don't want this negative aura effect the everybody around me.

Speak Malay well...can convert to Islam?...

This morning I watched a morning program on TV3 and I couldn't help but felt so angry with one of the caller. The tv presenter interviewed a chinese lady and that chinese lady spoke fluent Malay. She is such a sweet lady.

After that, the tv presenter answered a phone call and the man praised the lady for her fluency in Malay. So the caller 'invited' the chinese lady to convert to Islam because she can speak Malay fluently. Luckily the tv presenter said something towards the remark.

I am not a muslim and when I heard that just because we can speak Malay fluently so me must embrace Islam is it? Do not get me wrong, I am a person that always respect other religion, belief etc. But the caller is so stupid by saying that because the chinese lady speaks good Malays might as well she converts to Islam....

Bahasa Malaysia is our national language. We should be proud that we can master the language be it in speaking, writing etc. We learn Malay because it is our pride, dignity etc...not to embrace other religion that majority using Malay!

Merdeka!

The people in Sarawak, particularly the youngsters in Sibu (because I am in Sibu now) are all gearing up to celebrate the Merdeka night. They are seen riding their motorbikes (with the loud sound n the flags) all around the town. I am not sure whether this is the right way to celebrate but who am I to judge. Maybe they are a bot too much (with the noise pollution) but hey,...they are still young. I just one to see it from the positive side of it...at least they still remember that tonite is the eve of Merdeka!...as long they are not involve with any accident.

The government keep on drumming the 1Malaysia concept. Well nothing wrong with it. At least we can start somewhere. But the reality now is not really moving towards it.

The three major races in Malaysia still distancing themeleves...try to be more UMNO, MIC or MCA!

Hey I still believe that we need to identify ourself with our race (when we fill up forms for formal use and so on). I am proud for others to know my race when I apply for job etc. My race is one of my identities! But please do not put the barrier based on the race issue.

People of Sarawak has been experiencing the harmonious way of living together. Yes we are belong to many races..Bidayuh,Malay, Iban, Penan etc but we are happy with each other. My Malay friends can sit together at the Chinese shop without saying that it is haram...well they are not eating the pork...there are ample of cans drink that they can order and still can chatting happily with their friends.

One of my friends went to a Pasar Ramadhan (now is the fasting month for the Muslims) and saw a Chinese lady tasting the food at the pasar Ramadhan. Did the Malays people rioting because of that? No, there was nothing violence happen. If it was not Sarawak, for sure they already blaming the Chinese lady as not respecting their belief! Oh please...we in Sarawak complementing each other! The Chinese lady is not a Muslim so she maybe does not really understand the Muslims belief, so I am sure the Sarawak Malays (Muslims)forgive her for being ignorance...just think that it is as 'dugaan' in the fasting month.

Happy Merdeka and happy 1Sarawak to all my Sarawakian friends!

Teaching Science and Mathematics in BM again?!!!

Ohhh..I am so dissapointed when I heard that the government reverted the teaching of Science and mathematics to BM again.

As Sarawakian..I always feel that English is very much a language that we Sarawakian really appreciate it.

We can't even really accept BM as Bahasa Malaysia and now we say that we are "1Malaysia"...
